BEST HOLIDAYS EVER



In the summer of the year 2019, in my last year of scout, I traveled to Patagonia, in the south of our country.

I traveled for 3-4 weeks and in each place I stayed different amounts of days with my scouts group, but the most important was that I did this travel with my best friends.

My travel started in Puerto Montt and finished in the airport of Balmaceda. In the way, I climbed the Chaiten volcano, I met a lot of nice people, I played with childrens of a school, I did community service like cut grass, clean a school, I did a puppet show and more.

I did a lot of things, a few days I slept  in my tent, other days I slept in a cottage and other days I slept only in my sleeping bag, also I did activities between us, I looked a beautyfull place like El Ventisquero Colgante, We visited Puerto Cisne and in this place it rained a lot, I swam in a different lakes and I taked a lot of photos.

I think that travel was the best because I did this travel with my best friends, I knew a lot of new place of our country and I experienced things that I had never experienced before like walk 27 kilometers in a long road between mountains with my camping backpack, food to 3 meals and 4 liters of water. In this moment, I crossed all my limits both physical and mental, and when I arrived at the expected place I felt very happy and be able to do anything.

THE POWERFUL AND FOOLPROOF FOOD

May seems simple, but I really love the spaghetti with tomato sauce and meat soybean. This dish is prepared by a boiled spaghettis and a mixture between the tomato sauce and the meat soybean that is put on the spaghettis. This procces is very simple, but the final result is so delicious. I like it so much because is easy to learn, to do, and if you do the tomato sauce with a diferent spices and ingredients, the taste can be impactful and limitless, only you must have eagerness to experiment and enjoy. This dish is very complet in aspects like micro and macronutrients, calories and energy to work or do excercise in the day if you make the dish according to your needs, however, I don't recommend consume this food all day and every day because this food give "energy to operate in your day" and we don't just work all day, so, if We consume this food all day and every day, We are likely to gain weight or lose nutrients from other foods and this is so bad to our health

WHY DID I CHOOSE MY MAJOR?

 Post taking the P.S.U. in 2017, I didn't know wanna study and I just wanted to do everything except study, so in this year I only played sports, music and studied to did the P.S.U. in 2018. In the beginning I wanted to study Civil Engineering, in the passage of the year, I thought about the Chemical Civil Engineering, but when the moment had come, I had a conversation with my mom about my future and the Arquitecture was the most funny and intersting major in the options or I thought so. When I was a child, I did a lot of cities with my legos and items of my room like racetraks, wood, cars. In my best dreams job, I Told my mother that I wanted to calculated everything around me by chance. Today, I need this thought or the basis of this thought to do what I wanna do in my major. My experience at the university has been very rewarding, because enter in the Universidad de Chile, allowed me to experience a lot of diferents things like reflections, thoughts, realities, points of view. WHO I AM?

  My name is Tomás, I've 21 years old and I was born in San Bernardo, Santiago. I usually live in Santiago, but in the vacations, important dates, weekends, or free time, I travel to Cobquecura since It's my second house and in this place I lived my first years of my life. I'm Scout and I love the music and sports. When the pandemic started, with my family agree make a gym in the house and in this time, the confinement has not been a problem. Until today we have a lot of weight to do exercise and implements like dumbbels, kettlebells, a olympic bar and its cage, and more. At the same time, I love listen and play music with diferent instrument like violin, piano, guitar, traverse flute and percussion instruments.
